When you are transferring a domain registration from one provider to another, there are specific steps you will need to take to prepare your domain. Below are the details to prepare your domain for transfer with your current Registrar and then submit the transfer request with Enveospowerhost. Requirements may vary for some ccTLDs (for example .UK and .ES). More details on the transfer process and on how to move from a specific Registrar can be found here.

Note: If your domain expired with your old Registrar and you renewed it with them, please do not transfer it within 45 days of the previous expiration date. Otherwise an extra year would not be added to your domain name since losing Registrar revokes renewal in such cases. And you’d lose renewal fees paid to the old Registrar.

Your website will experience no downtime if your domain is pointed
to your host's custom DNS servers (hosting or private nameservers). To minimize downtime during transfer in case your domain is using current Registrar's default DNS servers, please read this help article (optional).

Steps to move your domain registration to Enveospowerhost:

1. Verify that the domain name is eligible for transfer.

To make sure your domain name can be transferred, sign in to your current Registrar and check the following:

The initial registration of the domain name was at least 60 days ago and the domain has been with your current Registrar for at least 60 days: Per ICANN's Policy on Transfer of Registrations between Registrars, domains that are less than 60 days old or were transferred between Registrars within the last 60 days cannot be transferred. Please wait at least 60 days before transferring.

The domain name is not on hold with your current Registrar.

2. Prepare your domain for transfer:

Disable Whois privacy protection tool or Private Registration for your domain; Verify you have access to the email within the domain’s WHOIS Administrative contact; Unlock your domain – remove the Registrar lock you may have set for added security; Obtain the Auth/EPP code from the current Registrar: Auth/EPP codes are required for all .com, .net, .org, .us, .biz, .info, .me, .co, .io, .ca, .tv, .in, .mobi, .cc, .pe, .com.pe, .net.pe, .org.pe, .tech, .top, .party, .loan, .faith and other new gTLD domains. If you cannot request an EPP code in account with your Registrar, contact them and ask to provide it to you.

3. Submit your transfer through your Enveospowerhost account:

Once logged in, select Domains from the top menu and select Transfer a Domain; Enter your domain name & Auth/EPP code separated by a comma. Example: domainname.com, E9R7;P402*4HS73: Click 'Start Transfer' and Enveospowerhosts system will verify the domain is ready for transfer and return the results; Click 'Add to Cart'; Enter any coupon codes you may have and click 'Apply'; Proceed to Checkout.

4. Check your email for the verification request:

The email will be sent to the Administrative contact on your domain’s WHOIS. It is sent from donotreply@name-services.com (or support@enveospowerhost.com) email address. This may take a few hours to arrive (and please be sure check your spam folders just in case). If you have not received this within a few hours of your initial request, please contact support for assistance. You can locate the domains that you're transferring to us in your account. Go to Domain List, then select Filters -> Pending Transfer.

After transfer is approved via email from us, losing Registrars have 5 days to automatically release your domain(s).
You can set up a URL redirect to forward your domain (e.g., http://yourdomain.tld) or subdomain (e.g., http://any.yourdomain.tld) to any destination page of your choice. Usually, when you set up a URL redirect for a domain, it takes 30 minutes to take effect
If your domain is pointed to our BasicDNS, BackupDNS or PremiumDNS systems, you can set up A, AAAA, CNAME, NS, SRV, TXT, URL Redirect, MX, MXE records from Enveospowerhost's side.

If it is not using any of them, feel free to contact your DNS/hosting provider for assistance or switch your domain to them. It is important to note that NS and URL Redirect 301 record types are not supported by the BackupDNS system.
Our free Email Forwarding feature allows to create personalized email addresses for a domain and forward emails to other email addresses of your choice. This service is available for all domains pointed to our BasicDNS, BackupDNS, PremiumDNS or FreeDNS systems.

It is possible to create up to 100 forwarding email addresses on our BasicDNS and FreeDNS name servers, and up to 50 forwarding email addresses on our BackupDNS system.

This is a forwarding service that does not allow creating fully-featured email accounts and send outgoing emails from address@yourdomain.tld, since it’s a virtual email address. You may consider our Private Email service, which allows to create such an email account.

Yes, we do.

Our system automatically sends out renewal notices beginning 30 days prior to the domain expiration date to the email address indicated in the settings of your account and to domain's Registrant email address listed in Whois. We send you renewal notices again 15, 7, 3 days and 1 day before the domain expiration date.

Please make sure that if you have any spam filters, they are set to accept our emails. A 30-days renewal notification can be found in the Unread Messages section of your account (other notifications are not shown there).
When you update billing information in your Enveospowerhost account, add a new card and/or proceed with submitting an order, a temporary authorization hold for a nominal amount is placed on your credit card. Like many other merchants, Enveospowerhost uses authorization holds to confirm that your payment account is active and has the funds available for purchases.

For many different types of credit and debit card transactions, authorization occurs before the actual purchase is processed.

If you complete the checkout process during the first 30 minutes after the authorization transaction creation without leaving the shopping cart and without adding your credit card once more - a successful order and transaction are created in our system. However, if you make mistakes in your order process and re-run authorization or cancel the order before the checkout process is successfully finished, authorization appears.
Declines can happen for a variety of reasons; most of them are generic. Thus, to our regret, we don’t have usually much information as to why a specific charge was declined.

Still, in most cases, it’s the issuing bank that decides on whether a credit card should be declined or not. The correctness of the card number, the expiration date and CVC are the primary factors banks take into account when deciding whether a transaction should be accepted or not.

Every bank has its automated systems that take various signals into account, such as customer’s spending habits, account balance, and the aforementioned card information. Since these signals are constantly changing, even a previously successful card might be declined in future. Even if all of the card details are correct and there were successful payments before, a future charge can still be declined by a bank’s fraud checking systems.

In case of a decline, your card is not charged.
